Return

Kosmos was walking around the room like a caged lion, hated to wait in a waiting room. Surely the patient had never been his stronger with age and his character was definitely worse. Starfleet from his point of view had absolutely no respect for his position, was in seclusion for some years on a pianetoide in the middle of the Badlands, cultivated land, fishing, generally spent the evening in a pub run by a beautiful red-haired woman with whom he had a conflicting relationship.
But two days before had witnessed the arrival of a man, a part of his life not seen for some time.
"Father ..." Kosmos Kirshei greeted him while he limited himself to raise the beer Romulan and smile. The Vulcan
half sat up and looked around, raising an eyebrow, a gesture of disappointment but at least the old sea dog noticed.
"You do not like my accommodation Kirshei? Yet know my tastes ... you know what I like ..." The
Kosmos son looked into his eyes "I know what you liked when his father, the adventure."
"Kirshei What do you want?" snapped Kosmos understanding that the child who years earlier had Ambassadress T'ren, was not there for a visit of courtesy, but for something else that certainly would not like.

"Starfleet needs you!" Dry said the Ambassador.
"I do not think either are on leave ..." Kosmos was the answer to bringing the mug to his mouth and sipping the third beer of the morning.

"There is a clause that permits calling service, the father," said Kirshei handing him a d-Halls.
Kosmos read a line and slammed the Halls on the table, standing up.
"They can send here a fleet of Romulan hawks to take if they want ... even the Borg Queen in person ... I'm not moving, I am of the dogs ... they sent my son trying to move me ..."

"Admiral Kosmos!" said a voice Kosmos diverting from his memories.
looked at the man before him, was a bit 'put on weight since the last time they had seen and had lost a little' hair, but then he was no longer what it once was but it was constantly in training ... especially in the bedroom.

"Admiral Hawking ..." answered, shaking hands with former husband of her friend Kia.
mind flew back to the times of the Princess, to friends as Sivaak, Ryo sighed ... then realizing that the trip down memory are another symptom of old age.

"Jorgos, I'm sorry I used a subterfuge to call you here ... but you would not have come otherwise ..." Hawking apologized inviting him to sit.

"subterfuge?" Kosmos raised his voice "the bastard son of mine used to stun and taking Vulcan put on a shuttle ... I had to teach him to respect a child's father"

Inside his mind he imagined the voice of T'ren say, 'Maybe first you had to be a father to him ... "

Hawking took a cup of coffee and handed it to the tea that Kosmos
sighed, "What do you want from me William?" churches cutting Short as his style.
"Jorgos I need you ... I need your experience and leadership," said the Admiral of the Fleet.
Kosmos sipped tea and ran a hand through his gray hair
"I'm too old now ... I know a quarter of today's equipment and certainly my reflexes can not compete with the young Starfleet captains ..." he replied hesitantly. Was he afraid? Jorgos T. Kosmos was afraid to face the physical deterioration of a normal human being? He was afraid of not being up to its reputation?
