In recent weeks, I have long questioned what had been the right attitude to take in these Democratic Party primary. Vote who? Do not vote at all? Honestly, given the acute disappointment (not least on the non-battle against the tax shield) ringed in recent years, my main hope was that they failed, so that the PD is not understood that a final, true strategic choice: self-dissolution.
I set the failure threshold to one million people. I thought that if participants in the primaries had not reached that limit, the only thing to do for the Democrats would be to close the cabin and puppets and give a deep-sea fishing. Already
11.30, however, voters were 900,000. Also this time, in all likelihood, the PD would not be extinguished.
So metabolized faint hopes that the opposition would continue to be linked to this party and these people, I tried to be logical and rational. Certainly, at that point, the most useful thing was that voters were as many as possible. So I went to my gazebo election.
I therefore set itself the problem of understanding what convenisse vote.
On the one hand, the need for Squaderno the structure of a party now plagued by figures (on the quality of which there is much to be discussed) that do not have enough strength left to say something, but they have one that they do enough to prevent I would push others to vote Franceschini. It is true that this would pass Squaderno necessarily desirable not only for the destruction of the ruling class, but also for that of the party form. On this, I must say, I have quite clear ideas: that the PD will not be better if the next managers to come out from social networks like Facebook.
other hand, the need to rationalize the identity of the Democratic Party pushed me to vote Bersani. The victory of the latter would certainly have represented a return of the PD axis of identity to the most consistent strands of social democracy. With the election of new secretary happened, I believe that in the coming days some of the PD Catholic papists, the Binetti, Enzo Carra, Rutelli (Catholic if it can be determined), will leave the party. I think this is good because the PD has ended up with all the disadvantages of the Union (the heterogeneity), without taking advantage (the extent of consensus). It remains one of my reservations in the positioning strategy that Bersani (and D'Alema more than him) want to adopt. I do not have open minds toward ideological agreement with the UDC. But I have doubts about the feasibility of this option. In a post-Berlusconi to close all hope, I believe that Casini and still more its natural constituency will find it increasingly an agreement with Fini. Then the wonderful PD Bersani Social Democratic opposition will be voted entirely permanent. Now, I'm far from certain that the so-called "calling the majority" that made Veltroni to go alone in the last election was the fairest way to go, but as of now I have the clear perception that against a neo-white whale Rutelli-signature-Fini Casini, the PD will never win.
With all these doubts, I went to the polls.
I open the ballot and find 4 lists (naturally frozen) supporting three candidates: that of Marino, Bersani to e. .. two of Franceschini. Two lists!? Dueee ?!!!??
Sad, really sad, I placed an X on the box Bersani.
this morning telling me that I won the primaries.
So how I feel inside, the viability of a single-celled organism?
